Museum Blue, with RGKSKSRG, invite you to 'Build love under everything'. This one-night event is performed live by Rachael Gilbourne and Kate Strain. Featuring staging, scripting, and call-backs, the event responds to and follows an intensive one-week curatorial residency at Paul Artspace and the surrounding city of St. Louis, Missouri.

'Build love under everything' is supported by Paul Artspace, St. Louis.

RGKSKSRG is the curatorial practice of Rachael Gilbourne and Kate Strain. Primarily Dublin-based, RGKSKSRG work to create engaged encounters between artists and audiences. These encounters can involve artworks, exhibitions, events, writings, residencies, interviews, commissions, and live productions, within various locations, both online and in-real-life.

Museum Blue proudly presents Tom Reed's , "the in-between". Please join us Friday Feburary 19, 2016 for Reed's opening, 7-9pm.

Museum Blue presents a collaborative installation from Allison Lacher and Jeff Robinson: Water. Water. The artists assemble domestic materials such as vinyl, carpet, insulation, wood, and ribbons to create a glimmering maritime scene. The work exudes both adolescent daydream and seafaring adventure, though its central feature, a raft-like structure suspended on a platform, is entirely static and trapped within the tiny interior. Upsetting the optimistic appearance of blues, yellows, sparkling and reflective surfaces, is the dread of the doldrums, of stagnation and claustrophobia which can occur even on the open sea. Water. Water. puts youthful hope in a situation of imminent failure, of being too big and too stuck, a situation that produces a glamorous delirium.

Hélène Baril is a Parisian based artist. After getting an MA in literature, Hélène quit her job teaching French to study art. Moving to Finland, she began a career painting houses. Recently, she’s been developing a tale involving racecars. In 2011, she created Orlandus Gallery, inspired by a fictional Finnish painter and racing car driver from the early 1800s. The artist also served as inspiration for SBK, an autonomous organization Hélène founded in 2012, which used her repainted car for meetings and as a working tool. In 2014 she worked in collaboration with anthropologist Michael Taussig in the piece The Sea Theater.
